How do I get Skyfire Web Browser on my device or tablet?

Skyfire is currently compatible with Android, iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad devices.

Skyfire for iOS: Require iOS 4.3 or later.  Skyfire has been optimized for iPhone 5, and is on all versions of iPad and iPad Mini devices.

Skyfire for Android: Requires Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" and up.

Which Skyfire Web Browser apps support the playing of Flash video?

Flash video is currently compatible with our iPod Touch and iPad apps, but is not available in Skyfire's newest Android product.  (If you bought the premium version of Skyfire for Android in the past to watch Flash video, don't worry - it will continue to work, but it is not available to purchase any longer).

Why won't Skyfire for iOS play Flash games, enable website animations, or touch-based interactions like a desktop computer does?

As stated in the App Store and Google Play descriptions, Skyfire offers access to Flash video only and is not able to provide you with access to Facebook games, interactive educational software or the like.  If you're looking to watch streaming live sports or other types of Flash video from your favorite Flash video site, than Skyfire Web Browser is the right app for you on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Why won't Skyfire work sites like Netflix, Hulu or ESPN360 (Live ESPN Stream)?

Skyfire requires domain-level access to analyze web pages for Flash video.  On proprietary sites like the ones mentioned above, which have privately protected (in-house designed) Flash video players, or those sites that require membership, video downloading or other registrations, Skyfire is unable to access and anaylze these webpages and therefore cannot provide video playback.

What if I don't want social sharing extensions functionality like Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin - am I able to remove these from my Skyfire toolbar?

Yes, you can.  On Android devices, scroll to the "Settings" icon in the toolbar.  Here Skyfire will allow you to select which web apps and features you would like on your toolbar.  On iPad, select "More" (the icon in the top right-hand corner with 4 lines) and here you will see an option to disengage the Skyfire toolbar.  (This ability is not yet available on Skyfire for iPhone, but is coming soon.)  If you'd ever like to add these back, simply retrace your steps to add extensions capability back to your Skyfire browsing toolbar.

How do I watch live sports or movies on with Skyfire?

There are a number of popular sites around the globe that offer live sports feeds and movies in the Flash video format which are supported by Skyfire (in our iOS products only - not on Android) .  This is usually the most popular content for Skyfire fans.  Please note that streaming sports feeds must have live content streaming in order for Skyfire for iOS to analyze the page - if a game has yet to start, or has expired, Skyfire will provide an "unable to play" message.  Movie playback is also popular content within Skyfire.  Please make sure that the movies you are attempting to watch are 1.) not hidden behind a download button (Flash/Javascript touch interactive buttons that work on your desktop are not supported with Skyfire) or "membership required" login/paywall (Skyfire cannot access these pages to analyze them for Flash video) 2.)  Please confirm that the video you are attempting to watch is Flash Video format; not Silverlight or a format that Skyfire does not support.
